Can the Ritual of Binding be performed without a personal item?

I have a problem dealing with a man who will not leave me alone. He keeps trying to talk to me and be near me. This in itself is not usually an issue and not uncommon. HOWEVER, he is still doing this despite me trying my best to distance myself physically [unfortunately not possible, there's so much more context I wish I could say but unfortunately I must stay anonymous] and quite literally walking away from any attempts at conversation with this complete retard. I am going to assert my boundaries as directly as I can if it happens again.

I do not like his energy at all [I can only describe it as disgusting, jealous, sad and rapey - like an incel who hates women] and I believe he may possibly be attempting to cast curses upon me, or paying someone to do so. He also attempts to emotionally manipulate me, which obviously doesn't work and backfires. I am actually worried he will attempt to touch me without permission or something. I believe he may also be attempting to sabotage relationships in my life.

Yes, I am practicing aura of protection, RTR, cleaning my energy and returning curses back to the casters. I feel safe with Satan and the Gods, but my instinct is telling me I need to go further than this.

Can the ritual of binding be done without the person's possessions? I would assume this means the ritual is less effective? I also welcome any other advice all of you can give.

I can't tell you whether the ritual of binding works without a personal object belonging to the person who is bothering you. I simply assume that the ritual is then greatly diminished.
But I wanted to tell you that I find it absolutely terrible that there are such despicable people who simply cannot respect the will of others. You have my sincere sympathy.
If something like this were to happen to me, I would simply visualize, while performing a protection ritual, how the vile person is violently repelled by the protective wall, as if he were being electrocuted, causing them severe pain.
Basically, when I have a problem, I turn to Father Satan, who understands my every situation, and ask him to give me signs, ways and means to deal with the problem.

Yes, you can preform a binding ritual on him. Just know his name and visualize him being tied down with chains and feel and know that he can no longer harm you.

It's what I did with a couple people in my life and it worked.

You can proceed with thie but I would simply just focus on my aura, inspire energy and meditate during the day, mostly at night in a trance, visualize your soul and aura and use a affirmation to keep the other person away.

Make an affirmation while using White Golden Energy and say something like : X is always avoiding me. But make it your way the affirmation and also belive it and visualise and feel as he is already has no more connection to you and no longer bothers you.

If the situation is more complex and requires faster time of reaction and you really want to close things with him for good on all existential levels then do a work with the mantra Munka, I find this as more beneficial then binding him, as binding him will I personally belive connect you with the other person more then you would think and he will have you more upon his mind.

Start a Munka working of few days, 40 days is classed for very long term and 80 is more about permanence, it's all depends of your power level and the other person power of energy you both have and it's more complex then just that and no technical information is necessary as you just looking to close any kind of possible interaction and connection with the person you want away.

You can do both the Munka and the Aura programming and also I would just curse him with runes, bind some runes upon him, watch for the rune numbers and multiply it by 2x always to keep its natural number, this helps a lot in magick if you keep count on many other things such as : astrology, numerology. Casting runes upon him won't bind your energy and yourself with the other person neither because you will just either inspire energy onto that guy soul and aura or just summon the runes energy and make an affirmation upon your preferences such as : X is terrified by me and he is always avoiding me.
