Can a God "admire" a human being if he works hard and advances?

I don't know if my question is actually blasphemous, I'm truly sorry if so. I was wondering: I know that admiration as we understand it is regularly felt for people who are worth more. But in a different and more generic and broad concept for the word "admiration", it is possible that a Deity can esteem, appreciate and admire 1) the efforts and 2) the concrete results of a human being given that our Gods are true humanists ? Can a God like a human being (understood from the point of view of liking someone as a person who evolves in our society)?
Sorry again if the question may be offensive, obviously the concept of admiration and esteem is not intended in that way!..
Thank you! :D

Would you be proud your child when they show you good test results they had in 3rd grade, despite you yourself being far beyond that?
I think so, yes.

Otto said it very well, I figure the Gods are very proud of us.
