What book would you recommend for Mudras?

An older but excellent book is "Mudras" by Gertrud Hirschi, if you are able to find it, maybe at a good second hand bookstore or online.

Another one I like:

https://www.amazon.ca/Yoga-Art-Mudras-Nubia-Teixeira/dp/1683836448/ref=sr_1_17?crid=1JBDVZPE79WEC&keywords=mudras&qid=1666305897&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI0Ljg2IiwicXNhIjoiNC4yNiIsInFzcCI6IjQuMjAifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=mudras%2Caps%2C88&sr=8-17

The link doesn't work anymore.
Do you know of any other legitimate site with mudras and mantras, like an encyclopaedia, that is safe to use?

This is a beautiful book that I can recommend; full of illustrations, theory, history and explanations =)

I would be really careful with those resources as they are very corrupted. For example, the elemental associations are wrong.

 Thumb is akasha because it can connect to everything and has more functions. The middle finger being akasha makes no sense. It's very shallow to put it just because it's in the middle and Saturn is little to nothing to do with akasha... quite the opposite, since it represent earth and horizontal development, which is development over time, the opposite concept of akasha is vertical development as in spiritual development.

 Index is fire. SA
 Middle is earth. TA
 Ring is air (and that's why we put wedding bands on it). NA
 Pinky is water. MA
