I was very curious about finding out my best possible career path in life using astrology. I am not sure where to begin and am curious on the thoughts of our members who are experienced in astrology.

You need to look at which sign the 10th house is in, the planets located in this 10th house, the masters of these planets in which houses and in which signs they are.
Ditto for house 6.

Are the cusps on an anaretic degree? This means that the energy of the rising sign will be very present.

Are the houses intercepted or "linked"?

Is the 10th house in aspect with a fixed star? Is there a malefic or major degree?

So many questions to check and answer.

Sun=How you create value
Mars=How you apply energy/force
Pluto=Creation or destruction of patterns
Saturn=Where you are most disciplined, wish to become experienced in
Venus=How you materialize luxury and social contracts
Jupiter=Knowledge, expansion, quick wealth, how you study
Mercury=How and what you communicate and think about
Moon=Sensitivity towards something, giving insight, what you nurture

There is more to this, but this is just a general idea.
With the houses, look at the 10th for your long-term approach, 6th for methods, 2nd for wealth itself, 5th for creative abilities.

So if your question is about career, this is mostly defined by Saturn and the 10th, as this is the area of life you direct your effort. The method for your efforts come from your Sun, Mars, Pluto, and even Venus. Jupiter and Mercury work more in the knowledge and direction side of things, along with the Moon.

You can see there are a lot of details here, but try to look for patterns in your chart. You may have a couple of these planets in similar signs or houses, or planets linked with good aspects. For example, Saturn aspects to something will increase the long-term career and discipline potential. Mars aspects will show that you can do a lot of that thing, such as writing, and so on.

So you can put some of this together to understand your overall career. You might already have an idea of what you feel capable with doing, or what you feel attracted to already.
