The second house represents money, material possessions, financial gain and the way in which you attract and how you handle money.

The sign on which the cusp of the house is located is important in identifying how the second house manifests in your life. For example, a second house in Aries shows an energetic, dynamic, ambitious and assertive approach to money and financial independence. It's also important to identify the planet ruling your second house, in the example above, Mars is the ruling planet, its position (sign, house and aspects) can show you more information in regards to your relationship with finances.
