I was at Valefor's ritual and he came to me and asked me for a song. I'm going to write it and show it to everyone soon, but I went to learn more about Valefor's story and discovered that Pegasus is more of an allegory, Pegasus is the mythical creature that leads us to the final ascension. Connected to the forces of Heaven, his luminous flight reminds us of the brevity of material life, the ephemerality of the illusions that we insist on making so real. On the wings of the Winged Horse, we call out to Infinity and recognize the eternal youth of the Spirit. We embrace the many deaths as a herald of rebirth. We enter the halls of our Temple once again and, like legitimate gods, we nestle in supreme bliss and Immortality. In Greek mythology, Pegasus was conceived from the union of Medusa and Poseidon. He is the fruit of the perfect communion between the earthly dimension and the Cosmos, between Mother Earth and the Great Spirit. The Feminine and Masculine intertwine to offer us a true understanding of Unity. Pegasus is the inspiration that reaches us from the heights that we once dared to forget. It is the victory of Life over death, of the continuity that subsists behind the relentless changes. If something dies, it is to free the imperishable! Pegasus symbolizes ultimate freedom, devoid of any limitation of space and time. It flies among the thunder, traces the oceans with its wings and visits the Celestial Houses. This Totem teaches us to prevail over the thirst for passions and animal desires in order to reach the infinite spiritual powers that lie dormant in all human beings. The seeker rises from his fall into matter and reclaims the lost divinity. Pegasus relates to the torrential cosmic current that pours over planet Earth. Individual existences limited by the masks of personality are gradually dissolved in the darkness of the Absolute, which unifies and integrates everything. Pegasus leads consciousness to unification with the Supreme Principle, when the mind frees itself from earthly contradictions and ascends towards divine wisdom. Everything passes, everything vanishes… What truly remains after the evanescence of all things?
⠀The root that endures after the petals fall. The Light that resists the extinction of the Sun. The essence that lives in Eternity.
When Valefor tamed Pegasus, he was actually becoming enlightened and achieving immortality.
