Hello everyone, I've written some poetry that is long overdue to thank some of the Gods/Goddesses for their guidance, love, support and aid for the past half year.
Amon
In the years I’ve not known you,
My life has been remiss,
For the most sacred of my protectors
Was lost from my soul.
Having found you once more,
And knowing that many lifetimes you’ve awaited
To see my soul again,
I can only thank you for your patience, your vigilance
And your willingness to be my friend.
So hail to thee, Lord Amon;
Guardian, protector, beautiful Son of Light;
May I walk with you always
As I grow closer to you, and to Father Satan.
Thoth
God of wisdom,
God of the moon
Healer
And friend.
I write to thee a thanks
For all that you’ve done,
For you heard me
When I thought that my voice was lost;
You gave me hope
When the word had no meaning left to it.
Leraje
Goddess of Sumer,
Goddess of sands and of skies
Painted every shade that man hath known
Goddess with whom I spoke
In a room lit by a red candle’s flame,
And by the scent of oil.
Through fire, we spoke
And through fire, you’ve worked;
Through fire you’ve forged fate anew,
And brought my soul of embers
Back to a blaze.
Malphas
How do I write poetry of might divine?
How do I write praise for he with the aura
That drowns out the daylight
With thine own radiance?
How do I say that you’ve worked against my enemies,
And how do I say that you’ve instilled courage in me
When I’d lost the ability to produce it myself?
I thank thee, Malphas,
With this humble ode.
