Void meditation as you’re trying to sleep can help you sleep a lot better, HPS Maxine wrote about this years ago

As for the melatonin, it doesn’t matter really. Maybe the gummy will digest slightly faster because it’s been chewed but it really just depends on your preference. If you have trouble swallowing pills then go for the gummy

I've taken melatonin gummies and they are effective. There are still side effects however. I don't know why you ate having trouble sleeping but common reasons are having dinner too late in the night. You should have dinner by 6pm. Any carbs after that will disrupt sleep. You should look at your daily routine as see what is causing you to be restless

You can’t solve a problem without analyzing the causes of a problem. Why can’t you sleep? What keeps you awake?

If the problem is health based (like feeling restless), the spleen 6 acupoint is known for being a strong point for the treatment of insomnia.

I have a manual on the vital points to cure something or kill someone. I took it out of the library because it was too big and did not fit. Your continuous replies on the subject made me want to search for it and insert it again there. I thank you for this even if it is off-topic.

Doing physical work or exercise that will make you tired. Don't eat too soon before you go to sleep.

Eu sou o pó, sou o tudo, sou o nada

you can also look into teas such as chamomile. Which for many is good for inducing sleep. But others such as Lavender are good to look into for simple relaxation which can help you. Try out different teas to see what seems to offer you the best relaxation. Sometimes finding simple routines to help you just learn to train your mind to relax can help as much as anything. Many minds thrive on routine and having that bedtime routine could help. Good luck.
