Andras and The Weald

In one of the 2012-2013 sermons, there is one page which states that Andras had once been worshipped in a forest area of South-east England that was named The Weald at the time. But... that's pretty much all the page says regarding that area (and the linked wiki page mainly explains geological matters), so I was wondering if anyone knows about what life and people were like there. Why exactly had the people in The Weald worshipped Andras? Had there been some impactful event there that Andras had contributed to?
