An Analogy for Understanding the Darkness

I am more so thinking out loud; however, I wanted to share how I understood “Darkness”.

This builds of three different sermons I read by HPC:
1. Satanism is about LIGHT https://www.satanslibrary.org/English/Audio/Satanism_is_About_LIGHT-HP_Cobra.mp3
2. Darkness is light turned inside out after all https://ancient-forums.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=77204
3. The Dedication Ritual: Path to Initiation https://ancient-forums.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=80210

When SS refer to darkness we are alluding to the feminine force of existence, the unknown, the formless, the ubiquitous, the hidden, the passive, the inward, the container of light, the occult. There are infinitely more descriptions, but this suffices.

Anyhow, I struggled for a while to grasp this concept until recently. I was laying down on the coach with the lights off except for the Yule tree, I noticed how brilliant it shinned when surrounded by darkness, and how it illuminated it’s surrounding. I realized that without this light I would not be able to see what is in the dark, and that there WERE things in the dark, even though I could not see them it didn’t make their existence any less real. And so it is with the Dark side of the Universe, so much knowledge residing in the abyss awaiting the light of my consciousness to discover it’s existence.

I think this is a good way to explain it as it reduces the need to feel this truth and bridges the gap intellectually until later.

Yes this is very true and helpful to understand life as a whole but also on specific things.

Darkness is all that is, it is all that could be grasped but it isn't. It is serious and beyond, yet it is also close and present within all. Darkness I see it as a connection to the ether as well, I see it as the potential infinity within all things, I see it as a place on which all can be touched by the travelling light of consciousness we are.

We are little lights suspended in the darkness of the universe. And maybe our universe is a light in face of another darkness. And so on.

That makes sense, but what is the difference between the Ether and Darkness? Based off your definition it sounds like Darkness IS Ether, a vast sea of consciousness both expressed and unexpressed.

Darkness is Ether's physical, tangible, palpable form. It's what gives it the power to create anything into whatever you wish. That's why it has been seen as evil, to discourage one to tapping into the power of using the power of darkness and fine tune it with your soul, chakras, sexual energy, intentions. The Sun is a great tool for workings, but Darkness is a lot more powerful because it is how stars are made.

I think there are differences in order to emphasize important concepts and boundaries. But in a general view and for my self, this is the same. Also more as an experience as well, not as structured thoughts.

Thanks for this reply, I also read some of the other explanations you have made about darkness, all insightful and valuable.
