AGNI mantra for weight loss?

Hi everyone, I know that some Hindus vibrate the AGNI mantra to lose weight. According to them, it can be used to burn excess body fat, toxins and even some think it increases metabolism. I know all this because I have done some personal research and studies. What do you think? Can all this be true in your opinion? I would have liked to vibrate it in the fat part of my body to "burn" it, but I would like to ask you for advice first.
Thank you so much!

Be careful with vibrating a mantra that is not included or recommended in the JoS site. There are many other safer ways to lose weight even with magick.

This can help speed up the metabolism.

I'm not sure if agni can be used for weight loss. It means fire in sanskrit. It's of the fire element. It can maybe help in invoking the element but handling elements is another matter is not beginner friendly. There is something I found on the Italian forums that mentioned an agni working for expanding the shushumna and producing heat. Theoretically, producing heat could help in weight loss as increased body temperatures can help you burn more calories (some fat loss supplements do exactly this, or claim to do this). But I'm not sure about an agni working for fat loss. I also doubt that the manta can simply be vibrated in the fat of your body to burn it as you mention.

Just try giving the working I mentioned above a shot along with a solid and consistent diet and workout plan. Just make sure you're consistent, and coupled with the working above it should definitely help you.

Any fire mantra can be used to speed up the metabolism, but air is better if you are looking to lose weight in general. Hence why the linked meditation using Libra-like energies. The vata dosha is the one that loses weight easily, but ALL weight, not just fat. So you may also lose muscle mass, bone mass and water mass. This is why vata-dominant people tend to be really slim and long, with narrow shoulders and narrow limbs.

If you use the linked meditation, make sure to visualise your ideal body shape. 'Excess body fat' is a generic statement. By modern 'healthy' standards, some chubby people are considered healthy (somehow lol). You need to properly direct your intent. Otherwise, the information for what excess means will be borrowed by the current mass consciousness, which has lower, anti-human standards because of centuries of enemy brainwashing.

Can personally testify for HIIT. Make sure to not follow a ridiculous diet while following a hiit routine though. Eg. no carbs, etc. HIIT workouts can be extremely demanding and if you follow a ridiculous diet then you'll have no energy to properly do your workouts. Instead, time your carbs. Also look into carb cycling.

To add to that, strength training is also great for burning fat and maintaining muscle mass, strength. And always remember to choose compound exercises over single joint, isolated movements. eg squats, instead of leg extension machine (also bad for the knees); deadlifts, instead of cable rows; bench press, instead of a pec deck machine etc.

As long as you understand the holistic concept of fat as pathological debris derived from yang deficiencies, then this is ok. Some people may have unhealthy concepts about losing weight, as Stormblood was getting into. Having a large frame is perfectly healthy and is associated with the earth element, and this is not synonymous with unhealthy fat.

Personally, I think the best way go about this is to use fire energies to remove any yang deficiencies of the body, because it is only through a deficiency of yang energy does fat begin to accumulate as a result of improper spleen functioning. Going through this route would avoid someone accidentally damaging themselves and will result in the fat being lost naturally (as well as other benefits such as boosted motivation or other yang traits).

What you mention about air is true, but I am having a hard time wrapping my head around using air to directly counter fat, as far as creating a mantra and so forth. I guess it is possible in the sense that air would prevent too much yin accumulation, but then it gets a little confusing because TCM states to mainly focus on spleen yang (and other contributors like stomach fire or kidney yang deficiency).

In this sense, I think the healthiest way to go about this is to use whatever energy for removing yang deficiencies of the body. This would avoid someone focusing on a faulty goal based on false notions of health, as you mention. I am willing to bet that most overweight people have conflated some of the normal aspects of an earth-frame with being unhealthy fat.

Someone could also balance their whole body through the elements as well, and this would also avoid reliance on potentially erroneous health perceptions, but also allow the body to change to a more desired form.

You can use air or fire to eliminate body fat and earth to increase muscle mass.
Also, from what I have noticed, people with a strong Gemini emphasis often have a slim constitution, I don't know what Libra has to do with it.

I am not sure how air as an element works in TCM, since I recall the five Chinese elements being: wood, fire, metal, water and earth. In Ayurveda, the vata constitution is primarily air and secondarily akasha, two elements that in alchemy have lightness as a quality. I think the key here may be less logical. Then we have Libra, which is light blue, of the air element and ruled by Venus. The symbol for Libra is a scale, which is fitting when it comes to weight. Venus is the planet of beauty, and we know people lose beauty as they become fatter and fatter. Light blue is the colour of the sky. I'd say Libra could relate to heavenly beauty from this point of view. Considering Vata has akasha, we can talk about 'ethereal beauty'. Ethereal beauty and heavenly beauty are similar in usage.

Above, I am providing how my stream of thought really goes on before I translate it in a more comprehensible format for people to read. I also do not have much time currently to elaborate. Some people will find that confusing, others will understand it if they have/had a similar thought process.

That being said, I personally agree with what you stated.

Gemini is an air sign. It is likely that this is linked to it. Vata as a dosha generally corresponds to slim/ectomorph and also to tall/longilineal. Pitta is athletic/mesomorph and usually medium stature. Kapha is big/endomorph and usually short. Obviously, there are thousand of combination, as it's extremely unlikely one is 100% one type.

There is to note that kapha people aren't necessarily fat. They are extremely likely to be fat in this day and age due to cultural norms that produce a fully unhealthy lifestyle and worldview for the majority (i.e. junk food, laziness, and so on). An SS that is manifesting their physical potential and is predominantly kapha, will most likely just have large shoulders and large hips (at the bone level) and being athletic in the muscle and fat composition.
