I wanted to ask if i should go cold turkey or reduce ?

Because i heard 2 people died from nicotine withdrawals from my 2 friends who lost their mothers to it because they went cold turkey. So I am abit afraid. Even someone died in my neighborhood from going cold turkey from drinking alcohol. Terrible.

I read somewhere that something inside a carrots helps with nicotine withdrawals and its effective.

So I'll buy me a bunch of them even if i turn orange eating them.

I think chilies will help too.

So what else can i try to cope from withdrawals?

I tried cold turkey once and failed. So i decided I'll reduce but it doesn't help because I keep going back to smoking more.

But I am willing to go cold turkey again but not sure if it's safe.

Throwing the pack into trash and not smoking anymore simply requires willpower. Casual smokers will not die to the withdrawal. It will be mostly mental torment for a few weeks with a side touch of physical withdrawal. If you are a heavy smoker, 2-4 packs a day, then consider reducing before quitting, but in other cases you should be fine aside from the withdrawal symptoms.

Dying to alcholol withdrawal is whole another story. The way it affects the body is very different also. Not comparable.

I have heard about carrots being eaten by those who quit smoking, and it helped them. Although I don't know if is about the ingredients, or rather "just something to do". The shape is also the same.

Muster all the willpower you have for this, because that is what it requires. Changing your mindset from unhealthy to healthy helps, and also void meditation helps with willpower.

Do you want to be a slave for poisoning yourself, or free?

If it proves hard to quit, you can always free your soul from it. I would suggest you gradually reduce the amount you smoke daily while also using an appropriate working. You can use this affirmation, 'I am totally and completely freed from all drug addictions and urges to use drugs in a positive way for me'. Also, Satanama is a great mantra for dealing with such things as it heals the mind, body and soul.

You could try chewing gum or drinking something (not alcohol) everytime you have the need of smoking.

Just stop smoking now. No reduction, you simply quit right away.

There is no special technique, you just need WILLPOWER!
Do you have to will to quit?

Thank you ! This is what i really need. Just have to get some carrots and plan and start preparing.
And drink water when i crave. But i dont do gums since it's not good for the stomach if you know what it does.
