Hi.
It’s important to note that while I don’t have a strong relationship built with this specific god, and not a lot of experience, that I have tried to summon/connect with this God before and had nothing but positive experiences ,
Anyways last night for the satanic new year I did a ritual for one of our Gods, I will not say who as I don’t want to unintentionally associate them with somthing negative, but after I did the ritual on our platform I focussed on the sigil of the God, and instead of the usual pleasant feelings or positive connection I had nothing but errant thoughts and negative energy, and I had this feeling like the God hated me and all sorts of things, it got so bad I had to give up on trying to connect at that time.
I feel just terrible about it as I know this dosnt reflect our gods in any true way,
I’ve been blessed immensely by the gods and I’m very grateful, and I in fact have quite the affinity for this specific God and while I havnt established a strong connection I do have a positive past history with this God aswell. I know it is logically highly unlikely that those negative thoughts or anything hold any merit, however if the God indeed was upset with me I would want to remedy the situation as I have nothing but adoration and respect for our gods, my question is , is this normal when one is new somtimes? I’ve never had an experience like this before but I have had countless positive ones with various gods, I’m not super open and I know I’m susceptible to my own self sabatoging things or outside influences, I also recently been doing purification so maybe it’s a reflection of some dross coming out?
Please help me have some peace of mind as even though I can deduce these things logically the thought that I may have somehow offended one of our Gods or that they hate me is a truly awful feeling I can’t shake. Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
