While I was performing the Grand Ritual of Zeus, my mother entered the room, and I had to stop halfway through. I know this ritual requires great seriousness and dedication, so I was truly upset.
Did I disrespect Zeus by interrupting the ritual? I apologized to him for breaking the flow, but I’m still not sure if that was enough.

To avoid being disturbed during the ritual, I had told my mother a lie — I said I was going to do a fortune reading and asked her not to come in. But she heard me vibrating the ritual words, opened the door, and told me that the strange sounds scared her. She got angry and left.

I’m still a child, so I live with my family, and they have a habit of entering my room without permission.
Did I disrespect Zeus because the ritual was interrupted?

I was so excited to perform this powerful ritual along with the other zevist in the Element, but once again, my ritual was cut short.

No, this does not disrespect the Gods at all.

Try to put some music or white noise on, if possible, as well as chant more quietly while focusing more intently. You can also angle where you chant so the acoustics of this activity are mitigated in the hallway. Test this with music and trying to hear it outside your room.

You will want to establish more authority over your own room. Apply the lock and tell them you are changing or sleeping, or something, if they ask. Over time, this will break the habit of them barging in without needing to make it appear like you are trying to hide something.

In extreme cases, you can use Isa to freeze, or Ansuz to detach, them from invading your privacy and Zevist work. This could be done in the form of 40 day working if needed.

Maybe you can play loud instrumental music and do the Grand Ritual.

I remember when I was younger I had similar problems with my parents coming in to my room while doing RTRS. So, it is okay to re-do the ritual at another time of the day or continue quietly when your parents leave your room.

Hail Zeus!

You did not disrespect Zeus. Our Gods understand that we have less-than-ideal circumstances.

If your mother complains again about strange sounds (your vibrations) you could tell her that you are trying vocal warmup exercises as you feel a cold coming on and restriction in your throat, for example. You can also hang something on the back of your door like a heavy jacket to muffle the sound.
