So in just a bit it'll be April 2025.

This question is directed to Hp.Lydia but anyone else wishing to chime in is good.

How or when is it the appropriate time to throw, sell, give, or donate something you own for Spring Cleaning?

I've read of things like if you use it a few times per year or once per year. It's not needed I've also read if you use it once every few weeks try and use it more or consider replacing it with something different or better.

So how or what should we do with our things? And what should replace them?

Last year I did throw away somethings and I regret throwing away one item I possessed an old CRT, it was okay nothing high end, not bad about it. But can't believe I didn't keep it in retrospect.

So how can I throw away things without later in retrospect being regretful of getting rid of it? Is there any golden rules as I mentioned.

I've read on Spring Cleaning. But I'd like more advice as someone who rarely throws out things.

By using common sense and predicting what you will and will not do in the future. By doing so, you can effectively gauge what is useful and what is not. Then there is the middle ground for these two, and you'd have to carefully consider pro and contra for each item regarding storage and so on.

I recommend that you evaluate the things you need first by making a list.

For example, there are things, they can be books, some outdated things that you haven't used for a long time and you can replace them by throwing away old things and buying new ones.

Of course, there are rare items, even clothes that will never go out of fashion and that do not tear or lose their appearance, thanks to professional and rare work, but there are usually not many such things.

I try to buy only the most necessary things for myself.
