My grandmother on my father's side's religion was Judaism, and she married a christian man. The rest of my family is christian and relatively secular, so that faith never really transferred, thankfully.
I'm fairly sure she was a "shabbos goy" situation, since my dad says she can't trace any jewish roots, and none of her children really inherited Judaism, not was she herself very "involved". But I don't really know what SS thinks about the shabbos situation.
I really love the Gods and meditation, and while I haven't tried any of the Rituals in JoS, I have considered myself a pagan for years and had nice experiences praying to the Hindu Gods. I've also had a lump in my throat feeling more than once in my life.
How would I know if I have jewish blood? Should I even worry about that?
I don't really know if gentiles practicing Judaism is all that common, so that has me very anxious. Is effectively everyone who practices Judaism just a racial jew, or are some families gentile converts?
