I never liked my name, not at all. It is an enemy related name. Think of mary, jesus, etc. My dislike is to a degree that makes me feel mad every time I have to write it down, type it, tell my name to someone new. I want to change my name. It is not an easy process in my country. You had to sue your parents to change your name in the past, now it has changed but still a challenge. If I change my name the new name will be a problem at everything. My diploma, passport, ID card, driver's license, other work-related certifications, certificate of ownership of vehicles/real estate... Fighting with family on top of that. They will never accept it. But I *hate* my name.
What do you think about spiritual implications of one's given name/hate of it?
Should I change it? Is it worth the challenge?
