Try to understand the value of the time you are wasting. I have friends who are busy supporting a family for survival for 18 hours a day or more, they would pay gold to be able to say they have a lot of time to waste, because they would have the opportunity to come to the gym for martial arts training and such. Think about what you could gain if you did not waste all that time, but directed it in the right way.
I can't stick to a routine
Routines have never worked for me. Instead of setting a commitment for every hour of the week, which would make you feel like life is an obligation, try going in phases. For example, write down that from 3:00 to 6:00 you will more or less insert half an hour of meditation, that from 6:00 to 8:00 you could study/work out a little and so on. Don't program your entire life hour by hour.
I just float through life, aimlessly
The purposes in life are often dictated by the love we feel for ourselves. Some time ago, I asked Anubis what I should do to advance spiritually. He replied: "love yourself more". If you love yourself, you will want the best for yourself. You should by definition be the person who loves yourself the most. Because you are the most important thing in your life and you will have to want the best for yourself.
I spend a lot of time in my head
I used to do something similar with music. Fantasizing about what I would become one day without ever being able to sit down and work on becoming that. Try setting an alarm. For example tomorrow you will set an alarm for 4:30 p.m., you know you can waste time until 4:30 p.m., but at that time turn everything off and start working on yourself spiritually and in other ways.
hard time being practical and putting effort in improving my life
Meditation is not something "demanding." You are not breaking rocks in the sun for hours a day. And you do not have to meditate too much. Start small, maybe 15 minutes, but do it well. Then slowly try to get to half an hour if you can. But do not overdo it. If you try to overdo it, then you will always be unmotivated, tired and stressed and it will be difficult to commit to you.
Goals feel meaningless, unreachable, unrealistic
Your goals are what will keep you alive. People with goals are the longest-lived. I have a list of all the goals I want to achieve in the next 15 years. And I work on them patiently.
