In Hinduism something has been hidden the Mala of 108 beads and how this can be used. In ancient teachings the 108 of this 54 is Shiva and 54 is Shakti making 108 however this is expanded outwards to 108 for Shiva and 108 for Shakti making 216.

This is why the Meru bead is placed on the Mala you go around 108 to the Meru bead and then turn the Mala back around and go around to the other direction to the Meru bead making 216.

108 has power but so does 216. 108 relates to the material realm physical time in the east I suspect 216 relates to the union of the astral and material realm. Hence the 216 is the path to get to 666 the union of the astral and physical making all existance.

6 times 6 = 36. 36 times 6 = 216.
6 times 6 times 6 = 216
666.
I do not know if this is significant. At least interesting

108: 1+0+8=9
216: 2+1+6=9
666: 6+6+6=18 1+8=9
As the HPs have stated, 9 is the number of ending. Also, some thing interesting that I found is that in vortex based math, if you double the numbers 1-2-4-8-7-5 and reduce any sum that has more than one digit down to a single digit by adding the digits together (like what you do in numerology), they form a continuous loop that only consist of these these numbers excluding 3-6 and 9. :geek: (Example: 1+1=2; 2+2=4; 4+4=8; 8+8=16 1+6=7; 16+16=32 3+2=5, alternately 7+7=14 1+4=5; 32+32=64 6+4=10 1+0=1, alternately 14+14=28 2+8=10 1+0=1; 64+64=128 1+2+8=11 1+1=2; alternately 28+28=56 5+6=11 1+1=2; etc.) :ugeek: As you can see the cycle repeated itself!!!!   Moreover, 3 and 6 form their own cycle. (3+3=6; 6+6=12 1+2=3; 12+12=24 2+4=6; 24+24=48 4+8=12 1+2=3; etc.) :geek: While 9 isn't in a cycle with an other number representing an end to all cycles. (9+9=18 1+8=9; 18+18=36 3+6=9; 36+36=72 7+2=9; 72+72=144 1+4+4=9 :!: :!: :!: ) This is true for any number that is divisible by 9. :D

Here is a link to video explaining the basics of vortex based math. ---> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnEWOYKgI4o&t

So if I do 216 reps with a 108 bead satanic rosary, I should do the second round of 108 into the opposite direction? I always figured that might 'mix up' the energies, so I did both in the same direction.

The significance of numbers is not lost in SS. They have specific meanings which is why we use very specific ones for our workings and meditations. The gods have their own distinct numbers as well.

I personally think there should be a page on their meanings and powers within the JoS website for newer members.

6×6×6=18, so 18 is important too right? I remember a HP saying that 18 has to do with health (i could be wrong) plus it is used in the protction by HP Maxine were she sayd about 216 for Surya. I guess 216 reps of a mantra and 18 reps of affirmation could be pretty powerful(?)
