1. You obtain enlightenment, clearer astral communicaion and senses in general, and are one step closer to godhead

2. Depends on the chakra, but you can become healthier and better in the aspect the chakra rules. For example communication for the throat chakra or say you have a low sexual drive, opening the sacral would probably help with that a lot
