I'm very curious as to what stage of development in the womb a body gains a soul. And is there any process determining which soul gets which body?
This process is gradual and not immediate. Around the 4th month of pregnancy the soul develops along with the baby. The total process ends with the birth of the baby.

The info I'm presenting below comes from books written by hypnotists who do life between lives regression
I have read these two books. If I remember correctly, the souls in the books have no gender and can go into a male or female body. However, on the forums here I am reading the opposite, that souls have a gender and can only go into a body of that particular gender. Two good books on that topic if you want to learn more are "Journey of Souls" and "Destiny of Souls" by Michael Newton. They tell everything a soul does after the death of the body, its adventures on the astral until the time it decides to reincarnate again into a new body.
The info I'm presenting below comes from books written by hypnotists who do life between lives regression:
The soul watches as the fetus watches as it gets developed in the womb of the mother. Then it may decide to enter it on and off. But the soul must necessarily enter it by the time the baby born. This is because the fetus can live without a soul in the womb since it's sustained by its mother, but it can't live after without a soul after it's born.
The exact time the soul enters it depends on the individual soul. Some souls enter while the baby is in the womb, while others stay away and travel in the astral realms and enter at the time of birth.
As about which soul gets which body, the soul chooses the body for its own purposes and what it wants to accomplish in the life. It chooses its parents, which country on the earth it wants to incarnate in and everything else. Different souls communicate with eachother on the astral before they incarnate on earth and decide who wants to be who's parent or wife or husband or whatever, depending on their karmic ties and whatever they want to do in life. Everything is arranged before they are born in this way.
Thank-you for the detailed reply.
"when a soul runs out of energy and dissipates into the true death/second death."
This happens how? Forgive me, I am new around here. I have been reading that meditation helps with this. I have been meditating for about five years now.
This is not true. Most souls do not get to choose anything at all, from the moment of death to reincarnation everything is automatic without any single input from the individual. Reincarnation is a natural process which happens automatically, even when souls do not want to reincarnate again. Only two cases where it stops, one is when Spiritual Immortality or higher is achieved, or when a soul runs out of energy and dissipates into the true death/second death.
The only souls who get any agency are those who are spiritually advanced enough to enter Elysium to some degree, there they can stay for a long time and thus they have some agency as to when they will reincarnate again, but even then the amount of agency is limited at first. You will have to reincarnate again when times are right. Such Souls will be able to incarnate in very blessed circumstances compared to others, but you do not really get to choose where you reincarnate at this stage, you just reincarnate where it makes sense for you to reincarnate based on your soul circumstances and karmic influences on you, as well as what is necessitated by the Gods from you. You also don't get to choose your parents, they are chosen based on natural processes, which can be seen through astrology in the birth chart of the parents and the children. You will incarnate into a household that fits your astrological circumstances in life, which are based on the karmic manifestations of your soul from all past life influences and prior experiences.
For ordinary people, there is no choice at all. They just reincarnate through a path of least resistance, into lives that are closest to the karmic influences on them at the time, through an automatic process of the transmigration of souls, which is governed by the Gods.
Only very powerful Souls will get any real agency, such as to decide when they reincarnate and for what purpose, based on which they can decide where to reincarnate and what life circumstances they will have. This is very rare, only select individuals who are already at spiritual immortality stage of the MO can get to do this, or usually it is those who are even higher than that and do not require reincarnation anymore but who decide to return by their own choice in order to do some critical task on the planet that requires an extraordinary soul who is beyond human.
This idea of arrangement is not at all what happens, it can be possible to a small extend for more advanced Elysian Souls, and joint incarnation at the same time by souls with strong Karmic ties is pretty normal for advanced souls, however this does not mean they will reincarnate anywhere close to each other in proximity, or even be of the exact same generation.
Souls have karmic influences on them which dictate everything about their next incarnation, these influences are not things that souls have agency over, they are the sum of past life experiences, influences, choices, actions, inactions, development or lack there off, blessings and other spiritual work, oaths, convictions, desires, etc.
This karma is influenced during life, not in the after life, and your next life is largely decided by your current life, so your current life is decided by your past life and those before. Then the times themselves always carry influence which will be imparted upon the soul as they incarnate, not all of which is strictly related to past life karma, but can also be karma from parents, karma from the society we are under itself, karma of the times that is tied to us (Middle ages for example had many issues, the times themselves carry almost unavoidable karma that had afflicted everyone to some degree, even the most powerful of souls who had full agency over their reincarnation).
Then to comment on the gender as a general reply, your gender is set from the first time you incarnate, the moment your consciousness and soul manifest for the first time, you are either a man or a woman, and this remains forever. Your gender never changes. Once a man, always a man, no matter what you do in your life, no matter what you wish for or desire, no matter what delusions, hopes or dreams. You don't have any choice over this either, as you just manifest in your first incarnation after being created by the natural generative forces of life through procreation, the gender of the fetus will determine the gender of the newly created soul, and this newly created soul will inherit most of their karma from the parents, the bloodline, and the other part will be from the times and the place. They cannot have personal karma yet, as it is a first incarnation. Personal karma is a blank slate.
For when souls enter the fetus, this is a long process which starts between 3 and 4 months. During which the soul enters a state of hibernation as it goes through reincarnation. Any kind of astral experiences are before the soul is binding to the fetus for the new body. At first this binding is relatively loose, and in case something happens to the fetus, the soul can detach with ease, up to about 7 or 8 months, where the binding is already set, damage then will be quite negative as the soul is already settled into the new life, in a subconscious state until the moment of birth. If something goes wrong before birth, the soul detaches and either has to weight for another chance at reincarnation, or maybe there is another possible reincarnation nearby in a similar time frame where it can go again.
For special cases, like powerful Elysian souls, their reincarnation is set in stone, protected by special blessings of the Gods and will always happen when it is supposed to happen, even if there are issues or interruptions. The mother who carries such a soul will also be protected so she can successfully give birth to these powerful and important incarnations. This does not mean there cannot be any complications, but at least failed reincarnation will not happen.
Souls do not have infinite energy. It is replenished during lifetimes by spiritual work and also to a lesser extend by living life itself. Though, if a soul never meditates they will run out of energy and eventually dissipate no matter how good they live otherwise. Spiritual work is required to replenish the soul, but if one lives well, stays on an upwards trajectory and meditates, the soul is capable of reincarnating forever. Souls are born with this kind of "immortality" as an innate quality, but this is not true immortality as you do go through reincarnation each time. When immortality is reached, you transcend reincarnation itself.
Brother, I appreciate your detailed replies. Things like this make me wonder about abortion. Maxine told us that Lilith supports abortion, but if a soul is put into the fetus during utero development what are the ethics of this? Additionally, I read here that at the moment of conception, light is produced. This seems to me like the moment the soul is bound to the physical world. This is when physical features, innate likes and dislikes, and things of that sort are decided by both genetics and soul. It feels like an abortion would be murder.Souls do not have infinite energy. When significant advancement has been achieved, you can sustain many lifetimes even with minimal to no spiritual work, though it has a toll on you and will continuously weaken you. For a Soul of the Gods it is easy to sustain themselves and never have to fear a second death, as the opportunity to replenish your soul and continue advancing always arrives in time for those who are with the Gods. Ordinary people, if they never grow past being andrapoda, or if they get stuck in very entropic and negative things that drain them, they will dissipate eventually, sometimes it can happen after as few as 3 total lifetimes. If they never embark on the spiritual path, they will dissipate.
This is not something any person on the Path has to fear.
Brother, I wanted to ask you.
1. What about cases of the fetus being perfectly healthy but after the mother gives birth it is stillborn?
2. Or a forming fetus goes stillborn in the womb?
3.Can there be cases of babies being born, but they end up dying prematurely out of the blue, like can this be a cause because the soul couldn't sustain itself as if it died or what?
4.Can a soul even die while it has a body that young?
Sorry for so many questions, I was just always curious about such things as it feels important for me to know, especially as a future mother.
Thank you!

@Voice of Enki [TG] Will a soul use up its energy in-between lives by trying to sustain itself while not incarnated?
I would like to learn more about the reincarnation process. Can you point me to more information? I would much appreciate it.
Thank-you.
