I'm Bengali, but I look Asian and my skin is white. My nose, eyes and hair all look Oriental, and also Bangladesh is near the border of China.

Is it okay for me to date an Asian, or is it race-mixing?

I don't feel as comfortable with Bengali's, because they're too different from me physically.

Yes all evidence points at you being Asiatic. Race > country, so you should stick with people that look like you rather than having the same passport.
Is there a way to confirm it?

Because almost everyone else in my family look's like a normal Bengali/Indian, except a few.

If I was born into this family, doesn't that mean I am of the same race?

I still look "somewhat" Bengali, but closer to Asian, more like a mixed race or "Wasian".

The majority of people assume I'm Filipino or Japanese or something, but I have a cousin who is the same and look's totally Asian, even more than me, and his siblings too look like "Wasian's" because of their Dad's (my Mum's) side.

So would I be mixed, or is it a normal thing for Bangladeshi's? And we have to stick with other Bangladeshi's subrace and not Asian's?

This is not me, but it's very similar to what my features look like. I would feel very comfortable in a country of people who looked like this, but I'm born in London.

But I'm like 15% less Asiatic looking and have a slimmer face^.

So you should stick with light skinned Bengalis then, that picture doesn't look that much Asian plus you said most of your family is brown - I assumed your family in general was Asiatic/yellow from your prior post, but Asiatic genes are recessive in comparison to brown/black/dravidian genes, then the darker genes take over even if some of the offspring have these lighter features, the brown genes can come stronger in the next generation.

Really, but I get called Asian all the time. My whole life people think I'm Asian. 60/40 between Asian and European. I look like a legit mixed race person, but I'm not.

I wondered if my soul is maybe ancient, around the time of the first few generations of Indian's who mixed when white's lost their standing in India.

My main family (parents siblings) look white-arab ish, like certain Iranians, rather than brown but I'm the only one with distinctly Asiatic features.

Would a DNA test reveal my true race?
