What would happen if one were to try and open the chakras from the base

I've read around on the JoS website and I noticed that it was noted that opening the chakras the wrong way could be potentially very dangerous. I would like to know how dangerous it could be to open the chakras from the base up.

Kundalini energy will get trapped and not be able to ascend which will created problems,only do it when you have opened all of your chakras so energy can then move freely from the base to crown

It's not kundalini energy that will be the problem here, as it won't be 'stimulated' at once, but that it can be seriously mentally upsetting, due to general energy coming 'up' and being blocked. Any energy increase without proper openess of the chakras can upset people, ranging from emotionally, to cause serious damage.
