It sounds like it's copied from the Vedas and turned upside down.
It describes the "Daevas" as the "gods to be rejected" when in the Vedas the word Deva is used to refer to a pro-humanity God. Then there were the Asuras in the Vedas where they conflicted with the Devas and wanted to control humanity. In Zoroastrianism the Ahuras are referred to as the only beings to be worshipped and Ahura Mazda is their chief "god"!!
