Viking Seidr

So yeah, Hello once again.
I was reading around on the internet, and randomly stumbled upon old Nordic Shamanism of Seidr, It seems to have a lot in common with what the Native Americans were doing, but I really don't know that much.
Does any of you know anything more about the topic, have any of you maybe tried it, or is it complete taboo ? Looking forward to an answer Thanks!

Uhh, no, It is about Shamanism and stuff, as much as I understood, it seems similiar to what the Native Americans were doing, going on Spiritual Adventures or some stuff.
