Vibrating or chanting?

Is vibrating the same as chanting? I find it quite tedious vibrating the runes. Say sowilo: sssssoooovvvvviiiiilllllooooo. If I have to vibrate this 10 times can I simply chant it 10 times? Or should it be dragged like sssssoooovvvvviiiiilllllooooo.

Vibrate them, where you rush to? Also focus and learn to meditate on the vibration. You'll raise very powerful energy in this way.

Chanting is singing, proper for ceremonial rituals and other psychological aspects, yet for a real magical action, only vibration.

On JoS, when it is stated to chant it is meant the same as with vibrate. On an actual meaning of the words and acts they are as stated above.
