I’m not sure what your hours are or diet is but it may be helpful to clean up your diet which could help with energy. I personally do vibrations that I need in the car and make time for trances and deeper meditations at night when everyone is finally asleep, or in the shower when doors are locked. It works for me. I’m also insanely tired often, sometimes I also just fall asleep. With enough willpower it works. Focus and training. Just try to manage your time better and do what you can when you can. Sometimes I would do RTR’s on breaks at work, sometimes I would go some time without any deep meditations or rituals to catch up with myself. Just keep living your life and do what you can.
I also meditated while driving.. It seemed to be a good idea, spending time on empowering yourself, instead of just listening music and "wasting" your time in a sense.
On my way home from work, I "opened" my Ida & Pingala channels, but only the upper part within my brain... Oh well, I can imagine safer places than a car, which is moving at high speeds, when this happens. This can be potentially dangerous.
I read your other post as well, I am glad and happy for you.
This shows, that you can overcome any and every problem you face in life.
I would say doing foundation meditation and brahmari while driving is quite safe. Same for some mantras, aura cleaning, aop these are all quite safe to do while driving a car.
One member said he did void meditation while driving. I would not recommend, because going on the deep end will increase the risk for accident so much.
No one should do void while driving. Seriously, that is incredibly dangerous. Far worse than being on the phone.
Unless you are a trucker or something in the US or similar places with long straight roads and almost no traffic for hundreds of miles, and driving is practically second nature to you, never do any kind of deep meditations or meditations that require significant focus while driving at all, even in the above scenario it is unsafe to do, but I could understand why someone might try to do it. If there’s traffic, or the road is dangerous, just don’t meditate deeply.
Even AoP I would not suggest doing while driving. When I do AoP my focus on it is no less than when doing void or light trance. No way this is safe when driving.
Mantra work I could see being fine, as the attention required for just vibrating them is similar to say singing along with the radio while driving, which quite some people do, but again, for the best results of any meditation, light trance is required, this cannot be safely achieved while driving.
Just vibrating mantra’s still has effect, and will raise some energy, but try to have at least 1 hour a day, either split up, or continuous, where you can meditate with undivided attention. 30 minutes of meditation after waking up and before sleep can do a lot.
I also often do aura cleaning during my morning shower, and AoP right after. Cleaning generally doesn’t take too long, and fits pretty well with the time I take for my shower. Bathrooms are pretty good places to find some privacy to do meditations, and with how bright bathrooms often are with the lights on, it can help you stay awake as well if you get home tired to do some meditation in there at night.
Recently I’ve been learning more on the importance of feeling. To really get the best results from meditation, one must be in a light trance at least and really feel the energy work. This requires undivided attention to achieve, so it isn’t compatible with tasks where some amount of focus is required unfortunately.
From Sundara’s reply, I don’t think they meant they meditate while driving anyway, I think they meant that they do it in the car, outside of the house, to have privacy in order to meditate.
