Hello brothers!
This is an intense study period for me but every time I try to study my brain can't focus completely. Do you have any advice for me?

Hail Zeus!

You can train your mind bit by bit with exertion slightly to uncomfortable territory, taking a moment of break, and then continuing the same. Adjusting the break time and workload can be done to alter the stimulus. This way, you will slowly get used to larger and larger workloads.

Exercising and eating high energy foods (omega 3 fatty acids) earlier in the day. Don't listen to music while reading, this sounds counter intuitive. If you need music to drown out noise play it in the background and use something without lyrics. Youtube has a lot of long mixes for studying. There classical music mixes, psybient, chillstep. If you type weird genres names into youtube will get some interesting mixes to play in the background on a speaker. Keep the volume on the lower side so you can ignore it. I like stuff like this: The Mystic Didgeridoo [Didgeridoo Psybient Compilation Vol. 1] Only have what you need for studying opened on your phone/computer. No social media and dare I close ToZ/ancient-forums.

During day when you are exercising or getting things done focus on a lot of stimulation. If you want music this is the time for music that amps you up. Use this time to think and have abstract thoughts. Imagine you have to explain what you are studying to someone else. How would you teach this. don't forget to do your daily workings/meditations. The brain is better at studying later in the day and better at receiving stimulation during the day. There is a sweat spot where you are tire enough to be relaxed but awake enough to focus on studying. Take breaks while you study and make sure to sleep/meditate. Better to study less and sleep more. If you are in school all day try to get a work out in before or just after. Doesn't need to be a lot just good blood flow.

There are workings and demons that help on the main site.

More advance methods are for studying itself: are things like mind maps. One skill almost no one learns is speed reading. If you can read faster then you can spend less time staring at a textbook. There are a lot speed reading + comprehension programs. Its not hard to double your reading speed within a week if you are a slow reader. Read -> write ->short break to stretch -> Read -write -> Short break. There are also memory techniques for remembering details, facts and figures. I like to figure out the essence of things first before worrying about the fine details when learning. These are more long term skills that will help with studying and test taking in the future. There are also mental math tricks and fast ways of doing complex math depending what you are studying.

This is a new method that I've discovered using AI. With AI you don't need to write out a perfectly explained ideas. You can write quick notes as a prompt and then the AI will give a feedback and this feedback can help you see plot holes in your understanding or explanation. You can also ask questions or get references for what you are learning. AI has a general set of base knowledge, during each chat it tries to tailor the information to you through a feedback loop. You can use iteration by going over the same information multiple time to refine your understanding of it. You can save a lot of time note taking.

I know this is a lot. There are a lot of techniques that don't get taught in school for some reason. Probably so you have to spend 13 years k-12, another 4 in university and acquire 100k debt.

Pomodoro technique, apply the teachings of the book: "deep work" by cal newport.
