There are people in the world that spend nearly the entirety of their time
in meditation, while others spend only a few minutes. Personally I believe
that you should dedicate anywhere between ten minutes to an hour for
meditation throughout the day. At the bare minimum purifying the aura along
with the chakra, and also meditating on energy flow between the spiritual
bodies. I don't believe you should spend so much time meditating that it
causes interference with other aspects of your life, such as: work,
schooling, and socializing. Having a healthy state of being also includes
activities outside of meditation, so as long as your allotting a reasonable
amount of time for other things than you should be fine.
