Third Eye Meditation/Power Meditations

Hello, was wondering if anyone else could talk about this....How do I really know if my third eye is open, have done the meditations, tried to do the th sound with the ohh at the same time. I could feel my third eye afterwards, but haven't gotten a headache so not sure if I did it right. Also, after doing power meditations for protection, felt tingly on my skin, and when I touched a light switch in the dark I saw sparks, I'm sure that is normal but can I try to do the third eye meditation program again? Another thing I try doing afterwards is to see my aura around my hands, I thought I saw energy like wavy but was faint and I had to concentrate on seeing it. Thanks for any tips..
