The term 'Nazi'

Tell me please, is it true that this term was coined by jews to ensure that:

1) socialism will be confused with communism and

2) National Socialism will not be associated with socialism?

If this is the case, should we actually USE "Nazi" in opposition to the jewish claims OR rather abandon this, thus emphasising the collective meaning of NS, and explain the difference whenever asked bout the differences between socialism and communism?

This is a great question.  The Japanese do this to "loan words" from English all the time with no alterior motive.  It's just that the words are long and hard for them to pronounce.  I think it's called combination words and there is another term for it that escapes me.
Ex:     SExUal HARAsment  =  Seku Hara
      (the Japanese have no 'X')
