Why are the movies and music of old so different and beautiful compared to today?
They didn't lack soul and an unfiltered expression of human emotions.
Today human beings care more about quality and superficiality rather than the soul of things.
Musicians of today care more about the quality of their music video or how correct the words are spoken, the "quality" of the text,
rather than how much soul and emotion they have put and transmitted into whatever it is they want create.
That is why older music and older movies are better than today, because they have soul and emotion,
even if today they have better "quality", better resolution, better sound quality etc.
It is about the soul and energy in everything first, quality later.
Music and other forms of human expression are meant to activate your emotions and soul, to uplift.
The same with general everyday human interaction, if you don't mean something, don't say it.
Words have to have soul and emotion in them, or they are just empty.
Just like the fake morning "hello" from your work colleagues, even if they say it with the best sound quality,
if they don't mean it, what is the point?
