If this is not some military rant that had a good intention behind it, which I doubt, this man is simply flipping insane.

This person simply fucked up by jumping the boat after telling everyone to fuck off when people needed him the most. How honorable...So stronk he will survive now so he's stronk, and the whole people of Texas are all incompetent?

Has he tried instead to organize them and boost their morale to help one another? I am sure people would be proud for their mayor if he did that.

While it can be difficult to work in disasters with people who have poor readiness, he as a leader, should organize them and boost their morale, and not fucking attack them while they are undergoing these calamities.

There's something hilariously ironic about the mayor telling everyone only the strong will survive and that people begging for basic heat and light are nothing but "socialists" supposedly begging for free handouts, when the first thing he does at the sign of struggle or effort is quit the job and put in zero effort.

Funnily enough this isn't the only thing either. Ted Cruz was seen flying out of Texas to go spend a holiday in sunny Cancun while everyone freezes without power back in the home state. As an Australian I'm getting distinct memories of our own Prime Minister flying to Hawaii in the middle of our bushfires. These "leaders" are pathetic.

Now that this has happened in Texas, if I had to wager a prediction, I'd probably say urban California or New York will have one of these mass outages next. Ohio and Michigan also have a pretty bad history with blackouts.

Regarding the executive order, once again as an Australian, I've seen plenty of Chinese interference in our power grid in recent years. Any American or European's eyes would bulge out of their head seeing how much we have to pay over here. Thankful I don't live in a cold climate, and I'm comfortable not using lights most of the night, so I've whittled it down to the necessities and cut the costs like so, and use gas stoves where we can instead of an oven. Ridiculous it has to be like this at all, but, one does what one must.

It's the same idea and notion of what I've seen going on with gas powered vehicles. This whole sudden shift over to electric like, if you're rich enough, or perhaps jewish enough and in the know, you'll be plenty ready. Many of the neighborhoods I deliver to are jewish as fuck, and most have jumped onto hybrids if not straight gone with the tesla products. I could imagine if gas vehicles are outlawed, most road going individuals would be forced to ride bikes, walk, or take the bus, and tesla products would be allowed to monopolize the market, potentially taking public transport and goods transport as well. Pretty much passing the control into even fewer hands than before.

What a moron. I was lucky to wake up to electricity today and heat. Sadly a pipe burst from the cold a floor above and the siren went off and as a result a fuckshow ensued. when the water was starting to go down i was actually worried about a water shortage for a time. All the needed resources and more were managed to be secured yesterday even a full tank of gas, and there was almost no gas to be found. i am pretty sure an hoping the worst here is over, although there is alot of people still without power and heat.

Years ago when there was a big hurricane, I didn't have power in my house for 2 weeks. If you have a gas stove, you can still light it with a lighter. Hold the lit lighter on the burner first, then turn on the gas. We boiled big pots of water, and the hot steam spread out in the house and warmed up the air. It actually worked very well.

This is kind of what you can expect from some of the enemy politicians. They really don't ever want to put in effort to make sure everyone is ok and no one teaches anyone to be ready for anything so far as disasters that do happen in school or anything (at least they didn't where I went to school) like this. It probably wouldn't even take a huge amount of extra time or effort to do so. I am not even sure I myself would know how to react to stuff to be honest. So if he had indeed felt this way why didn't he work to educate people on what to do long before now.
