Im trying to work out what the deadly sins means, so many civilizations have fallen, and it seems like mostly it is to do with pride? or why else do you think the civilizations fell, for instances, I look at my parents now, pride blinds them to what is going on.......

and what reduces pride? humbleness? physical work, reverence for nature? caring for others

so is the fall of a civilization, even if it is the intrusion of an invader and parasite, a consequence of our own sins, its the balance of nature taking place...

Pride is not a sin. It is one of the things that keeps an individual, a group, and civilization going. I am assuming you come from a Christian background. I encourage you to read this: https://satanslibrary.org/ExposingChristianity/EXPOSING_CHRISTIANITY_MAIN.html

Also, to answer your questions. The one true thing that makes a civilization fall is the failure to keep the blood of a people pure. In other words, immigration and race mixing.

I think you are confusing arrogance and ignorance with pride. They are not the same.

The concept of sin was born from the Abrahamic religions and is madness, nothing like it exists in nature.Do this simple experiment: Imagine that you are born on another planet, where you are simply alone, there is no religion, no laws that you have been taught, no morals, you are simply with yourself and nature, at that moment you would believe in sin ? Obviously not, it's something external and that doesn't belong to you,so just because a few thousand years ago someone invented this idiocy and plays god on the cloud now people are so scared by this hallucination of having been bad or burning in the lake of fire. Fortunately, reality doesn't work as the bible says. This is simply how they fooled humanity into believing that he has "sinned" for unknown reasons,This mentality of "Man is arrogant or has sinned and will be punished" comes from Christianity, and leads to guilt. This mindset is harmful and keeps you in an endless cycle of fear to do anything.Mistakes are necessary on this path as well as in human evolution, if we didn't make mistakes we would never be able to evolve or become masters in something, the gods probably have many mistakes behind them just like us, otherwise they would never have become the masters they are. What you are talking about is just senseless arrogance that any being who knows meditation or follows the path of wisdom will find himself annihilating otherwise he cannot continue, this realization occurs only through self-understanding.Reducing everything to the fact that ancient civilizations were too proud makes not much sense, there were simply a series of causes, which added together led to the fall of the ancient empires, one of these, and the best known one was the advent of enormous cataclysms that caused advanced civilizations to fall, these facts are also testified by archeology and the stories left by the ancients.the enemy is the second cause together with the Abrahamic religions, for the rest it is a series of things including the astrological nature of this era which together with everything and added to various phenomena has led to this

I agree that christianity is making the soul too passive!

think it is with pride, if you thoughts or beliefs are all messed up, and you are proud of them, then thats no good either! there is loads of proud christians

but I guess that is ignorance or arrogance , not sure, pride seems a bit unspecific
Pride can exist with or without ignorance. However, when it exists without ignorance, is closer to the truth of things. Christians aren't really proud at all, they just seem so.

Pride is the feeling you have when your daughter smiles at you.

Pride is the feeling you have when you see how far you've come.

Pride is the feeling you have when the Gods smile upon you

Most of all, Pride is is the love of your own people.

Thanks for the reply! do you think any of the other sins have any footing, seems like sloth and gluttony would.

if some of the Bible was original pagan text, do u know where it came from? apparently there was one book completely on herbs.
