A poem by me:
Hand forge all our sacred ties
Connected via golden lines
A voice that sings between
Our different lives
A thousand hearts, a million more
Truth be told with thunder roars
Our gates are open, no running
This is war
Our web of life with tangled flies
Stepping closer in the night
A perfect chance to bite
And spill their lies
They dare try come and over throw
The nest we built for our home
Can’t cut our silk, it’s stronger
Than the silver throne they stole
Stick together now, it’s time
Don’t hide away from this light
Face the sun, open your eyes
They’ll pay for all their crimes
Hand forge all our sacred ties
Connected via golden lines
A voice that sings between
Our different lives
A thousand hearts, a million more
Truth be told with thunder roars
Our gates are open, no running
This is war
Our web of life with tangled flies
Stepping closer in the night
A perfect chance to bite
And spill their lies
They dare try come and over throw
The nest we built for our home
Can’t cut our silk, it’s stronger
Than the silver throne they stole
Stick together now, it’s time
Don’t hide away from this light
Face the sun, open your eyes
They’ll pay for all their crimes
