Hallowe’en, All Hallows Eve. October 31.

Samhain (pronounced Sah-win NOT sam-hain)

(This will be Beltane, for those of you in the Southern hemisphere)

The last of the harvest festivals, and a time to honor the dead. The veil between the astral and physical are thinner, and divination is easier.

As well, there will be a New Moon in Scorpio on this date (moon goes void around 7-10pm for those in the Americas). This is an excellent time for working on any sort of transformations, psychic endeavors, and so on.



Symbols include pumpkins, cauldrons, brooms, acorns. Colors are Black and Orange, black rules new beginnings and knowledge of hidden things, and orange rules creativity and change.

Bonfires are traditional at this time of year, representing the Sun and burning away the dross of the soul.
