The runes have to connect to the chakras. Each end/bend/line, to a chakra.

Ansuz would be: base to crown, with the top line from crown to left temple chakra, and the other line from throat to left shoulder chakra.

However, this is not mandatory. Back in the day, we didn't even visualize the runes in our soul, and workings were still effective. Another option is to just see it in front of you and absorb the energy into yourself. Find a method that works for you

lately i started to automaticly absorb the rune in a way you are describing it, and not just that, i tried to make a vortex out of those smaller runes which one visualises in the aura, so i kind of spin them together with my aura to become like a vortex of some kind where i take more and more of this runic energy... i hope this makes sense for others, it works for me thou...

thank you, im happy if this could help, im currently doing a big rune research and it will still take quite a bit time, so i will still need to consulte with all of you here on some things, more minds working together are better than one, but this is a future thing so...

firstly i wanna say that i definitely need your help with understanding the runes, im not saying that what im posting here is 100% correct, im posting it here so it can be discussed and shared, im just sharing my understanding so far... now i want to say something else about hagalaz, im reading the same resources that maxine did when she wrote the rune thingy on JOS page which are below, like kveldulf gundarsson, karl maria willigut etc etc etc, now it has been mentioned that hagalaz is a rune that connects all runes and it also rules with crystals, expecially hexagonal crystals, and as you can see in my picture there are 2 versions of hagalaz runes, one that looks like H and another one that looks hexagonal... so now if i connect those two shapes of hagalaz together, i will definitely get the picture of a hexagonal crystal shape where you can definitely find all runes in it: https://imgur.com/FFO2uOo so now this reminds me alot of the nordic so called "web of wyrd" which looks like this: https://imgur.com/KUE9r4g and all of this reminds me of our soul shape: https://imgur.com/qa1eZcx so basicly... hagalaz is a certain representation of our soul i would say.... correct me if im wrong, but once again: im just sharing my understanding in hope others can fill blanks... thank you alot for your attention
