Who was Loki, really? A real god? Was he really malevolent? Or is he merely allegory?
You say this, but HPHC had the following to say about this.Lak/Laki/Loki/Lake/Laguz is the Rune of Loki. Laguz symbolizes the Source of Sacred Waters (Lak, Lac). Lak is the flow of Kundalini Energies going up the spine.
Loki's Realm is ruled by the same as Hel. In ancient Germanic society, the term «Hel» means «Holy Land»/«Sacred Kingdom». Therefore, Loki's Kingdom is the Muladhara Chakra associated with the Earth Element, the World Axis, the Area of Kundalini concentration. There is a legend that the God Freyr must spend 9 nights on the Tree, marry the Goddess Hel and attain Enlightenment. Obviously, this is an allegory and it shows the Unity of Shiva and Shakti. Rune Lac, Laguz is the Rune given to the Sacred Temple Hof (Heathen Hof), built on Sacred Pagan land. The Sacred ground is Hel.
The destructive aspect of Loki during Ragnarok is very similar to the story of Rudra in the East, who destroys the World, giving it a new beginning. Loki destroys the «Corrupted» and «Superior» World of Sansara to transform into a new perfect World. Ragnarok is a detailed process of all stages of Kundalini rising and Soul Purification. The World is a symbol of the Body and the Elements coming together in various Bodies that energetically complement each other, also this term refers to Chakras. Loki is then the Fire Serpent transforming the Elements into an Elevated State.
Rudra is one of the Divine forms of Shiva. His Power is the Lakini-Shakti. Ni/Mi refers to the Energy of Shakti. This is why Loki is depicted as the Fire God «wrapped» around a tree in the form of a Serpent. Because the tree is the Map of the Soul, the spinal column, and the Serpent around it is the Power of Kundalini and a symbol of Enlightenment and Immortality.
Loki in other Sagas is the twin brother of Odin (Wotan). Loki is Shiva and the Power of Odin (Wotan). Hence, Loki is an emanation of Father Satan.
Yes, thank you for the important addition to my post. It's true. You say this, but HPHC had the following to say about this.
We have to state here that Set is also parallel with Loki in Norse mythology, and that He is the master of darkness and the serpent power.
