Taoism can help a little with understanding as well but it's more a matter of increasing thought level abilities, (ie, increase your thinking ideas from 100% to say, 200%.)
If you can become able to think in non absolutes it can assist in opening different thought capabilities.

Perhaps this is what we call God, Akasha, SAT, Lucifer's Light. This Light is metaphysical, it is infinite, in many ways not manifested in Humans and in their Consciousness, but it exists as a totally different type of Energy, not comprehensible by the Mind. HP Hooded Cobra wrote about this in this Sermon: Lucifer & the Philosophy Behind Satan/Lucifer.

On the other hand, Akasha is comprehensible and it is Matter, even being the original among the lower Matter — it is not God and does not carry attributed properties. It also moves and is also time dependent, Akasha succumbs to death and decay. And God has no ideas and has no meaning, but also no absence, this is just what is indescribable and trying to reason about it is useless.

It is almost impossible for human to understand the Divine, because human is limited by the concepts and illusions of the modern world, designed to permanently limit thinking to flat models that simplify the worldview. But such limitations lead to degradation and to guaranteed Ignorance, although at the same time it is impossible to give properties and specific meanings to the Divine, since such things are not expressed by the primitive language models of mankind. Words have meanings, but these words and meanings are already given because of human's confinement in his philosophy to a very limited framework in which it is impossible to fit an understanding of that which is above himself. It is something beyond what human is capable of understanding. But human is able to bring himself closer to it, to become part of this Transcendent through Spiritual Evolution.
