can one do hatha yoga and kundalini yoga one after another or is that hatha yoga should be done only in morning and kundalini at night?

It is best to do Kundalini Yoga at night and Hatha Yoga during the day. But if you don't have time then take a break of an hour or more between the two.

How come? I think it's the reverse because KY is energizing (yang-yoga, basically) and we sleep at night. Raising energy during the evening or night can result in sleep problems.

Conversely, other forms of Yoga, such as static asanas do not necessarily energize to such an extent during the evening or night and suit better to that time of the day. Still, some people might encounter sleeping problems when Yoga is being done too late into the evening. All in all, some of this depends on the person as to how 'stable' they are (the earth element in their soul can bring a considerable amount of stability, and lack of it, the reverse).

Hmm, Interesting. I have always done Hatha Yoga in the morning and Kundalini at night. That's the way HP Hooded Cobra said in his 40-day meditation program, and I've been doing it that way ever since.

That does not answer the points that I raised.

Personal customaries vary, and the 40-day program is a guide. A guide does not necessitate certain methods.

I understand, brother :)
