Can a person only be reincarnated in their own sex? (i.e males can only reincarnate as males, females as females) What about race? Are people reincarnated only within their own race? If so, do you get reincarnated as the same ethnicity/general ethnic group? Are you reincarnated in the form of your descendants?
My general question is just how narrow or wide the amount of things you can be reincarnated as are?
I am concerned about this because, if you can be reincarnated into some completely different group of people, this means that your ancestors fundamentally do not matter for your existence, and then that would invalidate the purpose of honouring them or even having any sort of concrete identity, since, what does it matter, if your ethnicity will change in your next life.

If you are a white woman, for example, then you are a white woman in all your incarnations.

1. People can only incarnate as their own sex.

2. People can only naturally incarnate as their own (sub-) racial template.

Ethnicity and race aren't the same thing. Every country has a bunch of sub-races, but the sub-race is what matters far more than nationality itself.

Also, your past self belonging to different ethnicities should give you an appreciation of each country or group. It doesn't mean your ancestors in this life 'don't matter' as they are literally the biological and genetic material from which you come, they had to exist for you to exist, and unless you're a newer soul you likely were in the same area before anyway.
