Rather late in life (pushing 60) I finally kicked the pop music addiction. Aside from classical music, SS anthems are great as is the Iron Guard's "Imnul a Motin et Mora." (Hymn to Motin & Mora---two Iron Guard members who fell in Spain fighting for Franco.) (I hope I remembered the Romanian correctly.)
Time was I loved Sabaton. But then a few years back they came out with "No Bullets Fly." That's a number about Luftwaffe pilot Franz Stigler who escorted a crippled B-17 part way home, giving it a bearing on its course. Yes, that's right. He ESCORTED HOME the enemy that had been bombing his fellow Germans, including civilians. Sabaton thought this was chivalrous. I call it treason. I also say f*** any band who pretends to see anything admirable in such conduct.
