Has anyone worked with them I hear they have names an I'm wondering if vibrate any of the i-ching runes would be helpful

Irrelevant reply, as the person asked about the Chinese I-Ching, not the Norse Runes. Just because he used the word "runes" doesn't mean he is asking about them.

Don't mean any offense, but I often see people link a page from JoS in a reply to a question about something entirely different and unrelated to it. This is one example.

The hexagrams do have names, but I'm not sure if vibrating them has any power. Chinese pronunciation is much more complex so you have to learn how to pronounce them first.

Runes can be used in various ways, including divination, and other things explained in Jos.

Runes represent the power of the gods. Why use other different, and unsafe, forms? To achieve the same purpose?

Because the poster, presumably Chinese or East Asian, feels a cultural connection to his own script and not Norse runes. How are they unsafe?

Knowledge of many things is shown with time. Their "Retrieval" due to destruction is not as simple as it seems and that is why we must act in the safest way possible.

Currently empirically, there is no relevant information about this. Compared to the Runes. The use of Runes, which even though I’m Norse doesn’t mean you can’t use them. And it doesn’t distance you culturally.

Agreed. I know of Aztec/ ancient Mexican runes but there is not much study on them and the runes provided by the JoS were given by someone very credible and knowledgeable. Not only that but I have used them for empowerment and magick with very great success even though not being White so what you say is 100% true. There would obviously be a better connection if one uses their own cultures runes but seeing there is a high risk of danger from lack of study and corruption it’s better to go with what is known to safely work.
