Not sure what this was

Hello all, I was wondering what this experience was, after I was attempting deep trance last night (still haven't quite got it, still trying), I went to sleep and about an hour later I woke up suddenly and I couldn't breathe, for about 30 seconds I couldn't get any air, after I could breathe again, the side of my throat felt sore and I had to keep swallowing for a while before I could go back to sleep, I have no idea what happened, did anything like this happen to any of you?
