The way the moon turn around the Earth is an ellipse. An ellipse is like a circle but with two centers.
The Earth is one of these centers and the North Node the other one - the void orbit center of the Moon.

The North Node (*) (it seems called True Node in English) turn in opposite direction of the others Planets (clockwise). Its revolution is approximately 19 years.
In the chart, it represents the evolution step, for example, each time it transits on the ascendant an event occurs permitting to evolve, to mature.
It's not really the first point to analyze.

As far I know, Lilith represents your fears.

Yes, and later it's about fate. I suppose that instead to describe your self it's about your life course.
About abilities, Azazel's astrology say to watch the sign and house. 2nd House in martial sign may indicate a military carrier, and the life course is around martial activities and rough proof...

My answer was wrong :

the void orbit center of the Moon is Lilith and has nothing in common with the North and South Nodes !
I believe they are the points where the Moon course cross the Earth one.
