Hello. I am new to this group and new to spiritual satanism in general. I am writing to ask for help from experienced satanists to "show-me-the-ropes". I would also enjoy making new friends. Please write back if you have any helpful knowledge you wish to share with me. Much thanks. Hail Satan.

We just started getting into Satanism. We had a strong christian background, which we strongly disagreed with. We have read the Satanic Bible, and Satan Speaks, but we feel Satan is a true God. We have not figured out where to buy the black robes, Can you help us with that? We have not found people in our area that believe Satan is the true God. We have contacted Church Of Satan, and they say we have to send $200.00 per person for membership, then they will send us info on Grottos etc... Should we have to pay to be a Satanist, or join a Coven? We are fairly new at this, and would like any help possible.

The Church of Satan ARE NOT Spiritual Satanists, you can try and joint them if you are interested in an Atheistic approach to satanism. I wouldn't join them personally.

Nah, you don't have to send them money for a shiny red card. It's actually kind of a joke in their circles, i.e. people who send them money are sooooo eager to belong, it's just more herd mentality.

Your relationship with Satan is between you and Satan, and it doesn't cost a dime. LaVey's books are good reads, but like everything else Satanic, you use your brain and make up your own mind. Reading and research are great, but power meditation as found of the JoyofSatan.com are very valuable. Things like black robes, bells, candles and incense are nice but not required, just your desire to learn and grow. You don't need a coven either, in fact I think it's better to go solo in the beginning, so when and if you do find a coven, you have some idea of what is going on, and are less likely to get sucked into a cult or scam.

I am new to the spiritual satanism religion and I must say I am so happy that I found it. I have always been open-minded about all religions but this one in particular made me open my eyes and understand what satanism is all about. If everybody studied this certain religion, the world would definately be a much better place, instead of the Hell that we turned it into.
