Nakshatras: Obtaining and Increasing their Powers

I've been reading David Frawley's Shaktis of Nakshatras.

He states:
Each Nakshatra has its particular power or Shakti. These are also the powers of the Devatas or
the deities ruling the Nakshatras. Each of these Shaktis has its effect above and its effect
below, and the final result of these three factors.

I am curious if vibrating the names of the Gods listed for each Nakshatra would invoke their attributes in one's soul and life. Very much like the vibrating the sanskrit names of the planets.

E.g:
1.) Krittika is ruled by Agni, the God of Fire. It has the power to burn (dahana shakti). Its basis
above is heat and below is light. The result of these three is burning or purification.
Krittika Nakshatra burns up negativity, purifies what is mixed, and cooks or prepares that which
is not yet ripe. Agni is mainly the God of the sacred fire, so purification is perhaps the dominant
action, not destruction, though purification does involve the destruction of impurity. Agni is also
the fire that cooks our food and so there is a nourishing side to its effects as well. This fire has a
childlike nature.

Would vibrating AUM AGNAYA NAMAH/SVAHA be useful in a working of removing negative energy and negative karma from one's soul?

2.) Punarvasu is ruled by Aditi, the Great Mother Goddess. Its power is the ability to gain wealth or
substance (vasutva prapana shakti). Its basis above is the wind or air. Its basis below is
wetness or rain. These three bring about the revitalization of the plants.
Punarvasu Nakshatra brings about the return of energy and vitality, like the return of the
monsoon rains after the dry season. It causes our creative growths and inspirations to be
renewed. Aditi is the Earth Goddess who grants all abundance and gives birth to all the Gods.

Would vibrating AUM ADITYA NAMAH/SVAHA be useful in a working for attracting money and wealth?

3.) Can someone help me with correct pronunciation for the names of these Gods to be use in a mantra?
AUM XXX NAMAH/SVAHA?

SAVITAR
AGNI
ADITI
ARYAMAN
BHAGA

Hail Satan!

Agni is litteraly like invoking fire and Yes you can use It to burn negative energy and/or karma, if you see in the advanced meditation on Jos there are meditations like Rotating the elements, each elements is used in the chakra to eliminate the dross (dross=negative Karma) that block it's power, Fire burns the dross, Water dissolve it and so on.

Be careful to use Agni, if you don't have experiences with using the elements.

About the other mantra, i really don't know it's effects, if it say that Can be used for money then why not? I trust Frawley and his books are pretty good.

Hi Luis,
Thank you for your reply. I'll try using Agni for a freeing the soul working.
I have used Munka but I feel Agni might give me great 'residual' fiery energies from vibrating it.

I find that beginning a mantra with AUM and ending with SVAHA/NAMAH is much more effective for magickal workings as opposed to simply vibrating the bija form. However, i find that single word mantras are much effective and recommended for empowering a chakra.

I'll try vibrating a the complete mantra for different Gods and post my experiences. Though I ask if anyone knows how to properly convert the names of the Gods for use in long mantras (e.g. Agni= AGNAYA?) to let me know so i get it right from the get go.

I'm not fully sure that Agni is good for a freeing the sound working but it's worth a try, from what we know the Sun and so the Fire element are good to burn Karma.

I honestly use Agni and that is it. There is another Fire mantra Tejaus, you can find other elements mantra's here http://www.angelfire.com/empire/serpentis666/Advanced_Consecration.html, they should be the most powerful out there. I don't think it matter that much if you use Aum and Nama or just the single element mantra, i know that adding those make the mantra more powerful but for example instead of doing 108 reps for Agni you do 216 to make it more powerful instead of adding Aum and Nama.

Like i said be careful if you are not experienced with the elements, they are powerful, especially the mantra's.

Agni is an extremely powerful chant, literally translating into fire. You can use it for pyrokinesis. All Hindu mantras, deity names work. You just need guidance in rediscovering that which is hidden beneath all the literature. And the best teachers are the Daemons who literally know everyone. Ask your Gd in assisting you to gain mastery over the subject (nakshatra astrology/yantra magick/mantra/tantra, etc) and they will give you the knowledge no other human being can give you.

Don't forget runes for your safe magickal needs. ANSUZ is great for freeing the soul.
