Hello everyone,
I was wondering, what exactly are the Military Ranks of Hell?
I ask because I was looking at https://www.joyofsatan.org/www.angelfire.com/empire/serpentis666/DEMONSI.html/, and I saw that many of them have military ranks.
I looked then at https://www.joyofsatan.org/www.angelfire.com/empire/serpentis666/Orders.html to get some clarification, and there was the line:
"As for the military titles of Hell's Army, these are the same as for the human military"
But, like, not all human military ranks are the same. Like, the United States defines the "General of the Army" rank to be something akin to a British "Field Marshal", but nations like Spain, Russia, Nepal, etc. define the "General of the Army" rank to be a normal General rank. In addition, Sargatanas' "Brigadier Major" rank could either imply him to be a Major or, the head of the Argentinian Air Force...
In addition, even some "police ranks", raise some questions, such as "Inspector General" rank of Nebiros, which in some contexts of NS Germany itself could imply him to be a 5-Star general, or a 2-Star general in the modern Indian/Pakistani/Bangladesi Police.
With all due respect, I mean no offense. I'm simply confused. Could someone help clear this up for me? All help is greatly appreciated!
