What I'm about to write here is somewhat different from the usual topics of discussion in these E - groups. Or you could say that it at least looks at things from a different angle.
Many people, despite having raised their chi to high levels have problems in magick, especially when it's magick which involves influencing the external (beyond the self) and there are several reasons for this that I'm hoping I can help people explore and solve.
It is important to understand the dynamics of desire and emotion. Energy and affirmations are your gun and trigger, but it is your desire which lights the gun powder so to speak.
Now what must be recognized about desire and emotion is, obviously they're not at all rational. And are of the, subjective (feminine) right brain.
Because desire is right brained and not rational, it does not understand in any way whatsoever, limitations of reality!
This is essential to understand before you can have what you desire most deeply, I'll elaborate on it. For example...
Many people in need of money, would try performing a working to obtain employment for instance.
BUT is it employment which your mind truly desires? Not likely, what your subconscious mind desires is more resources, perhaps just one specific thing such as a home.
It is your Ego, your external self/identity, that which deals with 'reality' and is of the left brain that tells the subjective mind 'if you desire A, B and C, you'll have to do X, Y and Z first'.
You do not truly desire to be working 12 hours a day, your ego simply sees this as a means to an end in order to have what you desire; more resources.
So because there is little if any emotion/desire going into the thought of working 12 hours a day, 5 days a week. It'd be very difficult for a working to manifest such to be successful. As a matter of fact your mind is likely to dislike such a thought.
The point is, you must be 100% idealistic and to the point of exactly what you FEEL the most joy from, where is the joy in your working? You want millions of dollars, all you have to affirm is that you want it, can have it, deserve it and do have it! All thoughts such as 'I'd have to win the lottery to get such money' is pointless and makes your magick more difficult (yes that is a way it could come to you) but your subjective right brain finds no joy and cares nothing for numbers on a ticket, it is only interested in the satisfaction of having the clothes you want, home you want, living easy etc.
I'll be sharing much on the subject of the mind and where your power is and isn't at, and psychological obstacles in the way of spiritual growth and magick.
