The 10 Tibetan breaths are great for stimulating your Kundalini, so is the Cobra breath (If you're not familiar with these, look online).
The breathing exercise for the Root Chakra works well too.
The thing with meditation though, is creativity. If you want to stimulate your Kundalini, raise energies, and program them to stimulate your Kundalini.
Whatever way you raise your energies is up to you.
Also, focus on your Kundalini Serpent (if you're new, your Serpent is probably coiled and facing to the left...make sure to see it uncoiling and facing up), visualize it rising up your spine, piercing through your Chakras, and affirm that it is doing so in a safe and healthy way for you.
A quick and easy way to stimulate it, is place white-gold light on your Serpent and affirm " This white-gold light is empowering and stimulating my Kundalini Serpent, in a safe and healthy way for me".
